Malcolm Johnston


Managing Director, Malcolm, founded the company in 2000. He is a business strategy consultant specialising in the facilitation of customer centric change for a variety of businesses, including clients from the following sectors; IT, pharmaceuticals, radar, telecommunications and private banking.

His international business experience was primarily gained during 17 years with BT, Cable & Wireless and PSINet (an American ISP) and he has undertaken many international roles in sales and marketing from product manager to sales and marketing director. He has lived and worked in Germany and the USA – where he ran the Cable & Wireless international sales organisation prior to attending the C&W Senior Management Development Programme. He is a registered Growth Adviser and a registered Leadership & Management Coach with the Government backed Growth Accelerator programme.

He holds a BA in Accountancy & Law from Stirling University, a Diploma in International Business from Georgetown University (USA) and a MSc in Strategic Marketing Management from ARU. In addition to this, Malcolm is an NLP Practitioner, a qualified administrator of Belbin Team Roles and MBTI and a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Chartered Management Institute.

In addition to being a Chartered Marketer and a Chartered Manager, Malcolm is also a member of the Industrial Marketing and Purchasing Group, a network of industrialists and academics that debate and share best practice in B2B Marketing. Malcolm also sits on the Regional Board of the CIM and is a subject matter expert for the CMI.
